Healthy glycaemic control is essential for maintaining overall health and reducing the risk of both short-term and long-term complications associated with abnormal blood glucose levels. Keeping blood sugar within a healthy range helps the body use energy efficiently, supports stable mood and energy levels, and protects vital organs such as the heart, kidneys, eyes, and nerves. Good glycaemic control can also lower the risk of developing diabetes-related complications, improve quality of life, and contribute to better overall metabolic health and well-being.
