Singapore Population Research on Integrated exposoMe & Early menopause (SG-PRIME)

Menopause is a critical stage in a woman’s life, but when it happens earlier than usual, it can increase the risk of certain health problems. We believe that the timing of menopause is influenced by many different factors — such as the environment, lifestyle, social circumstances, and genetics. When several of these factors come together, they may speed up the body’s ageing process, causing menopause to start earlier and raising the risk of health issues.
