RNA Extraction from Tissue
Fresh (Frozen) Colorectal cancer (CRC) or FFPE samples collected from recruited patients for Phase 1B trial will be extracted for screening of fusion gene.
RSPO Gene Fusion Test Kit (Multiplex RT-qPCR)
A Laboratory-Developed Test (LDT) was developed by CGD under ISO13485 regulation and validated in accordance with the College of American Pathologists (CAP) guidelines, within the CAP-accredited GIS CGD lab. RSPO RT-qPCR Test kit provides a qualitative detection of gene fusions involving either RSPO2 or RSPO3 in the extracted RNA samples from patient.
RSPO Gene Fusion test result screens and identifies the positive predictive biomarker for ETC-159 prescription and treatment
ETC-159 has tumor-growth inhibiting properties as a single agent in tumors that bear RSPO gene fusions. The test result generated helps to pre-screen CRC patients in the early-phase (Phase 1B) clinical trial to support the selection and eligibility of CRC patients for whom ETC-159 treatment is being considered.
