    Dr. Lee Hwee Kuan ( PI of the Computer Vision and Pattern Discovery Group in BII) and his team have been collaborating with Archisen, an agri-tech company to develop their technologies in areas such as data science for their urban farming system since 2018.

    Dr. Lee and his team were recently featured on The Straits Times for their role in developing a crop yield prediction module which Archisen has incorporated into the Intelligent Farm Management Platform, Cropton to analyze data and recommend optimal conditions needed to maximize yield and quantity of crops.
