This small but efficient team plays an important role in the institute. It not only provides general administration support to the different research and IT groups, it also takes care of the students’ and interns’ portfolio, playing an important role in the area of human capital development. With the team’s reliable and friendly disposition, it is often the link between staff and A*STAR HQ partners, and the first point of contact for new staff, guests and visitors. With the research teams’ active role in the research community, the Admin team provides reliable back-end support for conferences, seminars and workshops organized by the scientists, ensuring the events run smoothly. The cohesiveness of the team members allows it to handle the ever-evolving role of an administrator.
