Dr Sun Sumei elected as Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineering

Dr Sun Sumei , I²R’s Executive Director, has been elected as a Fellow of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore (SAEng) for 2023.
With a rigorous peer-review process of the nominated individual, this is an honourable recognition of Dr Sun’s contribution in the leadership and technical expertise within the field of engineering. Dr Sun has authored and co–authored more than 300 technical papers in prestigious IEEE journals and conferences as well as over 30 patent applications, many of which have been licensed to the industry.
Her impactful contributions to engineering practice, research, and education have seen her not only delivering in the research domains but also leading strategic national taskforce, leadership roles in professional community such as Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
