Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R) and ICMG Group (ICMG) collaborate to drive innovations in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for Smart Cities.

Through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), I²R and ICMG are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration aimed to advance research and development (R&D) activities in partnership with ICMG’s Japanese collaborators, in the areas of robotics and artificial intelligence.

As cities evolve with the integration of advanced technologies and data-driven solutions, the significance of robotics and AI are increasingly pronounced. These technologies are essential in optimising resource utilisation and the creation of sustainable, efficient, and liveable urban environments that can address the evolving needs of modern society.

This partnership capitalises on ICMG ’s extensive network, consultancy experiences and I²R’s expertise in robotics and artificial intelligence, to develop groundbreaking solutions that not only enhances the quality of lives but also shapes the future of smart cities.
