Fast-tracking Production of Medical Grade Face Shield

Siemens Advance Manufacturing Transformation Center (AMTC), led an ecosystem of Industry 4.0 partners, including A*STAR, to develop and manufacture a medical grade face shield designed by Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) using additive manufacturing. In this collaboration, IMRE’s scientist from the Bioactive Polymer team developed the process for applying the coating. The press release was issued by Siemens on 25 June.
