We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the finalists - Algrow Biosciences - Allium Bio - Meatiply - Mycosortia - ULTIMEAT - WEMEET, who have participated in the challenge, whose innovative ideas are shaping the future of food technology. They have certainly impressed us with their talent and dedication, displayed throughout this competition. These brilliant startups have showcased exceptional ingenuity in their respective fields, validating that the future of food tech is not only promising but also groundbreaking.
Drawing upon SIFBI's expertise in fermentation, food processing, and analytics, some of the competitors have successfully executed bench-scale research work together with SIFBI scientists. This work has included biomass ultrafiltration, microbial culturing, high-moisture extrusion, as well as chemical and nutritional analysis.
We at SIFBI, in collaboration with Temasek’s Nurasa and The Trendlines Group Agrifood Innovation Centre (AFIC), and supported by Enterprise Singapore, are delighted to have been part of this journey, providing startups with the resources and know-how to accelerate the next generation of winning products to the market.
