Dr Koh explored our R&D efforts, gaining insights into how we’re driving food resilience and sustainability through:
- 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Leveraging fermentation to develop value-added ingredients tailored to Asian palates
- 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Enhancing food experiences while promoting health and wellness.
During the booth tour, Dr Koh engaged with Dr Sze Tan, ED SIFBI, to discuss our innovative solutions, particularly our multidisciplinary approach to supporting a sustainable agri-food ecosystem. He was particularly interested in our food valorisation initiatives – bio-converting our agrifood waste into aquafeed and how we tailor future food designs to consumer’s needs and nutrition. This highlights the importance of consumer acceptance and nutrition alongside sustainable and safe food production.
