Drawing from her experience in microbiome science, Dr Germaine Yong shared the importance of designing dietary strategies that reflect Asia’s diverse household dynamics, such as multigenerational living and unique gut health profiles.

We are already translating these insights into action through ongoing research in Asian-specific gut microbiome biomarkers and mapping nutrient-microbiome associations from high-resolution diet-microbiome studies in Asian cohorts. These efforts underpin our broader strategy to understand digestive health and develop nutritional solutions that are both sustainable and accessible.
