Addvalue Technologies Ltd signed a Joint- Lab Collaboration agreement with A*STAR I²R on the 23rd of February 2017. This collaboration agreement enables Addvalue and A*STAR I²R to embark on strategically important projects that increase Addvalue's competitiveness in the satellite communications industry and taps into new application opportunities brought about by the Internet of Things revolution.
Prior to this collaboration agreement, Addvalue had tapped A*STAR's expertise through the agency's Technology for Enterprise Capability Upgrading (T-Up) scheme, where research scientists and engineers are seconded to build companies' in-house R&D or technical capabilities. Since 2007, at least four research scientists and engineers from A*STAR I²R have been seconded to Addvalue to help the company develop the future of satellite communication systems.
