Organised by the Next Generation Arithmetic (NGA) team, the
Conference for Next Generation Arithmetic (CoNGA) is an annual conference that provides a platform for speakers to showcase their recent development in NGA.
This conference, co-located with
Supercomputing Asia 2019,is supported by A*STAR Computational Resource Centre and National Supercomputing Centre, Singapore.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts of original, unpublished research and recent developments in next generation arithmetic (NGA). This year an additional session focusing on machine learning/artificial intelligence problems with NGA techniques will be added. CoNGA'19 invites original contributions on topics related to next generation arithmetic, specifically universal number (unum) and posit arithmetic, including, but not limited to:
- Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence
- Hardware Implementation / Proposal
- Software and System Implementation / Proposal
- Applications and Use Cases
- Tools (E.g. Compiler, Verification, Test-Suite, Measurement) Implementation / Proposal
- Numerical Algorithms
- Mathematical Libraries and Models
- NGA requirements
The submitted manuscripts can be up to 10 pages, written in English and formatted according to the ACM Digital Library's
sigconf template. Invited papers will be allowed additional pages, up to 15. Submissions will be accepted electronically via
