    Singapore International Robo Expo (SIRE) 2018

    The Singapore International Robo Expo (SIRE) 2018 was held from 1st to 2nd November at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. ARTC was represented by the ROS-I Asia Pacific team, where various open-source robotic technologies were showcased.

    The event was opened by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Dr Koh Poh Koon, who later visited the ARTC ROS-I booth. Booth exhibits included the Flexi-auto Robot, Adlink Robot and UR5 Cobot.

    ROS-I is an open-source consortium where individuals can utilise this versatile development framework to deliver complex intelligent systems with higher efficiency and minimised cost of maintenance and training. Users can leverage the comprehensive database of development and testing provided online by ROS communities across the globe.
