    Singapore Airshow

    The biennial Singapore Airshow was Asia’s largest and one of the most important aerospace and defence exhibitions in the world! For the fifth time, A*STAR participated at the Singapore Airshow 2018.

    A*STAR featured a series of tech capabilities within the themes of Inspection, Intelligence, as well as Robotics and Automation. A*STAR's showcase included Digital Shot Peening, Ceramic Additive Manufacturing for Aerospace Components, Blown Powder: Laser Metal Deposition in Manufacturing & Repair and Automated Masking.

    ARTC showcased Virtual Reality/AR in the aerospace manufacturing environment, advanced material deposition with Automated High Pressure Cold Spray (HPCS) and robotic aerospace inspection utilising the Digital Twin.
