Industrial Transformation Asia Pacific (ITAP) 2018
Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) 2018 was held at Singapore Expo Hall from 16th to 18th October 2018. It was the first Hannover-Messe initiative held in Asia-Pacific, and Singapore was the hosting country, with over 15,000 delegates across 55 countries attending. The focus is to help companies adopt Industry 4.0 processes and solutions, and to create opportunities for industries to network and transfer business knowledge.
As part of the Whole of Government (WOG) Booth, ARTC showcased Factory of the Future technologies, launched during A*Star Model Factory Initiative Launch, such as our Manufacturing Intelligence Control Room, Digitalisation of the Assembly Line and Smart Solutions for Machine Maintenance. The WOG Booth which was visited by 105 tour groups and more than 2,500 tour participants. The demonstrations showed ARTC’s commitment to innovation and to digitalise the manufacturing industry in the face of Industry 4.0. The WOG booth was graced by Guests of Honour Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Minister for Trade and Industry Mr Chan Chun Sing.
