The Bi-Annual Technical Meeting (BTM), held at ARTC from 26th to 28th of February 2019, saw 150 attendees across three days.
The three-day event was packed with sharing sessions from ARTC’s technical teams with updates detailing the Cycle 5 Core Research Project (CRP) End-Year Review. Members were invited for a team-bonding dinner at the end of day one. Some members also had the opportunity to visit tier 2 member, Rockwell Automation, on day two, giving them a chance to tour the facilities such as the Connected Services Experience Center.
The Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Implementation team also held a series of End to End (E2E) Mass Customisation Line demonstrations throughout the three days. The demo showcased ARTC’s capabilities in developing an integrated line with modular testbeds for E2E filling and mass customisation in a FMCG setting.
Day three ended with a presentation of CRP 6 proposals and announcement of new projects voted in by members for CRP Cycle 6.
