ARTC successfully concluded its Bi-Annual Technical Meeting (BTM) on 7 and 8 October 2025. Centred around the theme “Smart and Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing”, the two-day event brought together ARTC’s consortium members and partners for meaningful exchanges, fresh perspectives, and collaborative discussions to shape the next phase of industrial transformation.

The BTM serves as a cornerstone for collaboration within the ARTC consortium — a vibrant community of industry members, research partners, and technology innovators committed to advancing the manufacturing landscape. This October’s edition featured a series of keynote presentations, project updates, and technical showcases designed to inspire new ideas and strengthen partnerships across sectors.

ARTC was also delighted to welcome six new members into its consortium: Bombardier, AI² Robotics, Alstom, Dream Technology System, Posh Electric, and Sing Dynamic. Their addition further enriches ARTC’s diverse ecosystem, expanding opportunities for cross-industry innovation.

A special highlight of the meeting was the keynote addresses by Mr Vivek Lath from McKinsey & Company and Mr Florian Doerrfuss from Schaeffler. Their thought-provoking insights into global manufacturing trends and sustainability strategies sparked engaging discussions among participants.

Beyond the formal sessions, attendees enjoyed a memorable networking experience — including breathtaking panoramic views from the Singapore Flyer, followed by a networking dinner at the Carlton Hotel. The evening provided a relaxed setting for members to continue their conversations and forge new connections.

ARTC extends its heartfelt appreciation to all participants — especially those who travelled to be part of the event. We look forward to welcoming members again at the next BTM in March 2026.
