Bombardier has announced a S$100 million expansion of its Asia-Pacific Service Centre in Singapore. As an Anchor Member of the A*STAR ARTC industry consortium, Bombardier is part of the collaborative ecosystem that drives industry transformation and advances capabilities in aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). The expansion reinforces Singapore’s position as a leading global hub for business aviation MRO services.
The new 250,000 sq ft facility at Seletar Aerospace Park will nearly double Bombardier’s existing footprint in Singapore. Upon completion, it is expected to become the world’s largest business aviation MRO centre. The facility will enhance capabilities in maintenance, aircraft modifications, avionics installations, Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support, and component repair and overhaul services. Operations are targeted from H2 2028, with the creation of more than 200 skilled jobs.
Through its collaboration within the A*STAR ARTC, Bombardier seeks to advance next-generation aerospace MRO technologies. This includes digitalisation, automation, and the application of artificial intelligence to enhance operational safety, efficiency, and reliability. These efforts support the translation of advanced manufacturing technologies into practical industrial applications, strengthening the competitiveness of Singapore’s aerospace sector.
