    AMAT joins A*STAR ARTC as a Tier 1 consortium member, strengthening the Centre’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. Founded in 1967, AMAT is a global leader in materials engineering solutions used to produce new chip and advanced display in the world, with deep expertise across semiconductor fabrication, advanced packaging, and display technologies.

    As a ARTC Tier 1 consortium member, AMAT will collaborate with research institutes, industry partners, and technology providers to co-develop and pilot advanced manufacturing solutions. The partnership will support joint research projects, talent development initiatives, and industry-relevant innovation programmes, contributing to the advancement of high-value semiconductor manufacturing capabilities.

    Through this collaboration, A*STAR ARTC and AMAT aim to accelerate the translation of research into industrial impact and support Singapore’s continued growth as a global hub for advanced manufacturing.
