ROSCon Singapore 2026

Dr David Low, CEO of A*STAR ARTC, highlights the partnership’s focus on next-generation MRO technologies, workforce capabilities and Singapore’s aerospace ecosystem.
ROSCon Singapore 2026
Organised by the National Robotics Programme (NRP), ROSCon Singapore 2026 brought together developers, researchers, system integrators and industry adopters to exchange practical experience in deploying open-source robotics. Interoperability was a central theme, with discussions on how robots, infrastructure and software systems can work together across operational environments. For A*STAR ARTC, the conference provided a platform for its ROS-Industrial Consortium team to share its technical contributions to open-source robotics for manufacturing.
Within this broader focus on interoperability, ARTC’s ROS-I technical leads shared their contributions to the open-source community and the release of RMF-Industrial for manufacturing applications. Their sharing highlighted ARTC’s work in bringing open-source robotics capabilities closer to industrial needs, where integrating robotic systems with existing infrastructure and workflows is important for practical deployment.
ARTC’s participation at ROSCon Singapore 2026 reflects its continued contribution to open-source robotics for manufacturing and its engagement with the wider interoperability ecosystem. Through ROS-I, ARTC provides a platform for industry and the robotics community to exchange knowledge, collaborate on relevant technologies and support their translation towards industrial applications.
