SWITCH Beyond 2026: Embodied AI & Robotics Track and ROS-Industrial Consortium Asia Pacific Annual Summit

A*STAR ARTC’s ROS-Industrial Consortium Asia Pacific team collaborated with Enterprise Singapore to co-curate the Embodied AI & Robotics track at SWITCH Beyond 2026 on 27 October at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore. The afternoon programme also incorporated the ROS-Industrial Consortium Asia Pacific Annual Summit.

The track brought together industry leaders, technology developers, researchers and end-users to explore how advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, trusted data, safety standards and open-source innovation are accelerating real-world deployment and transforming manufacturing and industrial operations.

Through expert discussions and industry insights, the programme connected developments in intelligent robotic systems with practical deployment considerations. The themes highlighted the importance of trusted data, safety standards and open-source ecosystems in supporting the deployment of advanced robotics.

Through its participation at SWITCH Beyond, A*STAR ARTC helped connect the ROS-I APAC community with the wider robotics ecosystem, creating opportunities to exchange industry perspectives and explore how emerging robotics capabilities can be translated into practical manufacturing applications. This further strengthened the bridge between technology development and real-world industry needs.
