Congratulations to Dr Zeng Yan, a staff from Pressure & Flow Lab, MFM (Mass, Flow & Mechanical) Metrology Cluster of NMC, has been honoured with 2023 SSC/SAC Commendation Award. This recognition is conferred to experts who have dedicated years of commitment to standards committees, thereby making substantial contributions to Singapore/International standards/Technical References.

Presenting this award to Dr Zeng Yan is Director General for Quality & Excellence at Enterprise SG, Choy Sauw Kook. 
 
Dr Zeng has been involved in the development/revision of numerous standards/Technical References, such as TR56 (LNG bunkering specifications), SS660 (Bunker delivery from oil terminal using MFM), SS648 (Code of practice for bunker mass flow metering), and National Mirror Committee for ISO/TC 28/SC 2/WG 13 Marine Bunkering. She represented NMC in a panel discussion to address all the metrological-related questions in the webinar: Strengthening bunker supply chain with SS 660:2020 (organized by Enterprise SG and the Singapore Standards Council) held on 22 Jun 2021. Her exceptional expertise and dedication led to this well-deserved recognition.

Each year, Enterprise SG and the Singapore Standards Council meticulously select awardees, considering their active participation in standards committees and their invaluable contributions to the development/revision of Singapore/International standards. This year in total 63 awardees from different industry sectors of Singapore have received this accolade.
