We were happy to welcome Dr. Beatrice Conde-Petit, Sustainability Officer from the Bühler Group, and a leading figure in food processing technology and sustainability, for a seminar last month.

During her presentation, she highlighted Bühler’s dedication to sustainability, advocating a comprehensive approach that balances humanity, nature, and economy. By focusing on reducing food waste and adopting circular economy principles, they seek to transform food by-products into valuable resources, reduce waste, and create new opportunities. Collaboration is key to driving innovation. Strengthening our Public-Private Partnerships with academia, industry, and start-up can accelerate the development of sustainable food technologies. Tailoring solutions to the specific needs of local communities ensures that the R&D are relevant and effective, addressing the unique challenges of different markets.

Together, we can transform the food system into one that is sustainable, resilient, and capable of nourishing a growing population. Let's strive for innovation and a better world. 🌍
