We had an insightful visit to Singapore Polytechnic’s SP Consumer Chemicals Technology Centre (CCTC), where we were impressed by their innovative formulations that address the needs and preferences of consumers. There were formulations focused on sustainability and clean labels, providing valuable support to businesses in the beauty and personal care industry, including our local SMEs.

At SIFBI, we have a natural product library featuring ~160,000 plants and microbes that we can explore for use in consumer care products. This library allows us to investigate new bioactives and alternative sources that can be incorporated into these products. Additionally, our expertise in synthetic biology enables us to synthesize functional molecules for consumer care applications.

Thank you CCTC for hosting us. We look forward to exploring potential partnerships for consumer care products in the future.
