Proudly presented by the Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the first EMBO event in Singapore consisting of plenary and poster sessions on frontier issues and cutting edge technologies will be held in A*STAR, Biopolis. This will be the first EMBO event following the cooperation agreement signed between EMBO, EMBC and the government of Singapore and it will be graced by leading scientists such as Profs Maria Leptin, Edda Klipp, Michael Katze, Nikolaus Rajewsky, Fabio Stella, Giuilo Superti-Furga and Irina Udalova.

The second year for the IFReC-SIgN Winter School on Advanced Immunology is now open for applications.

In 2013, the Winter School will be held at Amara Sanctuary Resort, Sentosa Island, Singapore.

The program will include a five-day intensive immunology lecture series for Ph.D. students and recent post-doctoral fellows given by 20 leading immunologists on a wide range of topics as well as poster and oral presentations by all participants.

Ph.D. students and post doctoral fellows (less than three years since obtaining the Ph.D. degree) are eligible to apply. There will be a competitive screening and selection process.
