David TAN Shao Peng

Biography

Dr Tan is a senior consultant medical oncologist and clinician scientist at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore and an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also concurrently a Principal Investigator at the Cancer Science Institute, NUS.

Dr. Tan graduated with a BSc in Experimental Pathology with First Class Honours and an MBBS with distinction from the Guys’, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine (University of London) and trained in internal medicine at Hammersmith and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. He obtained his PhD in Oncology at the Institute of Cancer Research in London and trained in Medical Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada.
