Biography
Adjunct Associate Professor Dr Frank Sen Hee Tay is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology and Allergy, at the National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore. He is concurrently a Senior Consultant at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), where he Co-Chairs the CAR-T cell therapy steering committee and the immune-related toxicity team.
Dr Tay obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005, followed by a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 2011. He later earned a PhD focused on the role of neutrophils in systemic lupus erythematosus from NUS and undertook post-doctoral research in epigenetics with Prof Kenneth G. C. Smith at the University of Cambridge. Dr Tay is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor at NUS, where he serves as Deputy Chair of the NUSMed Immunology Translational Research Programme and Clinical Lead of the NUS–Cambridge Immune Phenotyping Centre.
