Shengli XU
Biography
Shengli Xu obtained his Bachelor's degree in Biology and Master's degree in Physiology at Nankai University, China, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. After working as a lecturer at the Medical School of Nankai University for three years, he joined the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB), Singapore and conducted his PhD work in 1998. Shengli obtained his PhD in Immunology from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003. From 2003 to 2008, he worked as a Research Fellow at IMCB and a Senior Research Fellow at Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN). In 2009, he joined Bioprocessing Technology Institute (BTI) as a Research Scientist and subsequently became a Senior Lead Research Scientist and a Group Leader. In 2020, Shengli rejoined SIgN to lead the B Cell Immunology Group. He is also an adjunction assistant professor at the Department of Physiology, NUS. His research interests include B cell immunology and immunotherapy.
