At Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) 2024, A*STAR SIMTech supported A*STAR to showcase its pivotal role in driving the future of advanced manufacturing and digital transformation. As a leading innovation centre in SEA, A*STAR SIMTech demonstrated cutting-edge solutions in smart manufacturing, robotics, Industry 4.0, and sustainable industrial practices. It also spotlighted the SWIFT initiative—the Singapore Workforce Institute of Future Transformation—to train workforce in AI-driven manufacturing.

Aligned to ITAP's overall theme, A*STAR Booth's theme this year was “AI-Powered Next Gen Manufacturing: Smarter, Greener and More Connected”. It aims to show how A*STAR works with partners to co-develop innovations for Next Generation Manufacturing by focusing on making manufacturing smarter, greener, and more connected, powered by AI while weaving in elements of sustainability, resilience, and human centricity, to meet present and upcoming industry needs.
