Accepted A*STAR Papers at NeurIPS 2024
We are pleased to announce that 43 research papers co-authored by A*STAR researchers have been accepted for presentation at the 38th Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS) 2024. This prestigious conference will be held from 10-15 December in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
NeurIPS is globally recognized as one of the most influential conferences in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) research. Each year, it brings together leading researchers, engineers, and thought leaders to share groundbreaking insights and advances across a wide range of topics, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, AI ethics, and cognitive science. This year, NeurIPS received a total of 15,671 full paper submissions, of which only 25.8% were selected for presentation – a testament to the conference’s highly competitive nature.
A*STAR’s remarkable achievement of 43 accepted papers highlights our researchers’ notable contributions in advancing AI theory and applications and underscores A*STAR’s commitment to pushing the frontiers of AI. Among the accepted papers, the paper titled “Diversity-Driven Synthesis: Enhancing Dataset Distillation through Directed Weight Adjustment,” co-authored by Jiawei Du, Juncheng Hu, Wenxin Huang, and Joey Tianyi Zhou from the A*STAR Centre for Frontier AI Research (CFAR), had been recognised with a spotlight poster presentation.
