WU RUIGE

Biography

Dr Wu Ruige received her PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Hong Kong in 2011 and then joined SIMTech working on biological and biomedical applications of microfluidics technology. She has worked closely with local SMEs and MNCs and led several industry projects on developing point-of-care testing of different diseases, including infectious diseases such as Dengue, influenza, Covid-19, etc. She is currently a Section Manager of Smart Microfluidics Group (SMF) at SIMTech, A*Star, and leading development of Lab-on-a-chip platform for various biological and biomedical applications, particularly point-of-care devices for disease diagnosis, health monitoring, therapeutics, etc.
