Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Garage

About EDA Garage
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Start-ups can access EDA tools and collaborate with the Institute of Microelectronics (IME).
The EDA Garage is expected to enhance Singapore's position as a hub for semiconductor innovation, attract investment, and stimulate economic growth. By bridging the gap between innovative ideas and market-ready solutions, the EDA Garage will play a crucial role in driving the next wave of advancements in the semiconductor industry.
Enterprise Development Grant (EDG)
The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) is a grant that supports our local enterprises' projects aimed at upgrading, innovating, growing, and transforming businesses. Under the EDA Garage initiative, launched by Enterprise Singapore and Institute of Microelectronics, the EDG funds qualifying project costs related to the use of EDA tools to the eligible companies.
The EDA Garage will foster innovation and create a dynamic and competitive ecosystem, through lowering the barriers to entry for semiconductor startups and SMEs.
This initiative will empower local talent and attract global interest, positioning Singapore as a leading hub for semiconductor innovation.
