Sensor platform allows companies to test-bed green building solutions

A*STAR's platform for companies to test-bed green building products in tropical climates was featured on media. Called the Intelligent Building Energy and Environmental Monitoring and Control System (i-BEEMS), the system is co-developed by EPGC and IHPC. Dr Koh Wee Shing, Senior Scientist, IHPC and Mr Alex Chong, Senior Manager, EPGC, were interviewed alongside Mr Lim Yew Meng, AGC Asia Pacific's Executive Director. With the use of i-BEEMS, the team has helped to test out a new type of glass panel solution developed by AGC.
