Solving transportation system problems through simulation

IHPC's work on transport simulations was featured in Berita Harian, in a story titled "Using simulation to resolve problems for transportation systems". The article highlighted two members from the Complex Systems team in A*STAR's IHPC, who have been developing simulation technologies and scenario modelling to help transportation planners, operators and government agencies resolve transportation issues such as improving train schedules, reducing bus waiting time, and quantifying the resilience of existing and future transport networks to pave the way for better decision making. IHPC scientists, Dr Muhamad Azfar and Mr Nasri, were interviewed.
