IHPC's collaboration with LTA and MOT to improve public transport resilience was highlighted in Lianhe Zaobao on 8 Sep 18 in an article titled "Capability of MRT to cope with peak demand may increase by 30% in future".  Dr Muhamad Azfar from IHPC's Computing Science department was quoted in the article. He highlighted his team's research in developing a rapid transit system resilience index to better measure train reliability and added that the index will provide useful benchmarks to comprehensively quantify system resilience.
