IHPC develops technology that detects sarcasm on online platforms

IHPC's work on SentiMo and Crystalace was covered

from A*STAR's IHPC have developed an artificial intelligence called SentiMo that can quickly analyse netizens' sentiments on certain issues. SentiMo has been used by three companies to analyse users' responses to digital content and advertising, as
well as feedback on medical services.
Researchers at IHPC have also developed a technology called Crystalace that can automatically detect sarcasm. In an interview, IHPC researcher Raj Kumar Gupta explained that the system can detect unique characteristics of sarcasm, including local slang.
