The global maritime shipping industry is facing challenges due to weak global economic conditions, significant structural changes, forming of mega-alliances, and excess supply, which call for innovative maritime solutions to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

Under this MOU, IHPC, Shipfocus and Stolthaven will come together and look into enhancing operation efficiency for tanker shipping operations in Singapore though: 

• Enhancing Stolthaven’s port terminal operations through analysing data value chain and operation processes.
• Investigating secure data sharing (e.g., through IHPC’s data vault technologies) among multiple parties in Stolthaven’s logistics supply chain.
