Celebrating Workforce Excellence at the A*STAR-SkillsFuture Singapore Graduation Ceremony 2025
On 17th November 2025, the A*STAR-SkillsFuture Singapore Graduation Ceremony marked a significant milestone in the development of Singapore’s manufacturing workforce. Organised by the A*STAR Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology (SIMTech) and A*STAR Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), and supported by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), this annual event celebrated the achievements of over 800 individuals who successfully completed various workforce training programmes over the past year.
We were honoured to have Mr Tan Kok Yam, Chief Executive of SkillsFuture Singapore, as the Guest-of-Honour. His presence underscored the importance of lifelong learning and skills development in advancing Singapore’s manufacturing sector.
The ceremony emphasised the need to stay updated in the rapidly evolving manufacturing landscape, where new technologies and processes continuously redefine industry practices. It highlighted how ongoing training empowers professionals to remain competitive, adapt to change, and drive industry growth. Beyond celebrating individual milestones, the event also reflected a shared commitment to building a brighter and more resilient future for Singapore’s manufacturing sector.
The evening was filled with inspiring speeches, heartfelt celebrations, and a profound sense of pride as we recognised the hard work and dedication of the graduands. Their achievements are a testament to the ambition and strength of Singapore’s workforce development initiatives, and we look forward to their continued contributions to the growth and competitiveness of the nation’s manufacturing industry.
