tesa x Singapore - A New Era of Adhesive Innovation

On 30th June 2025, the tesa R&D Lab Launch was held at JTC CleanTech 2B, organised by A*STAR SIMTech in collaboration with tesa, and supported by A*STAR Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy & Environment (A*STAR ISCE2), A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (A*STAR IMRE), and JTC Corporation. The event, themed “A New Era of Adhesive Innovation”, brought together approximately 120 guests comprising industry leaders and public agencies, to commemorate a significant step forward in advancing circular economy practices through sustainable adhesive solutions. Mr. Michael Schardt, Head of Financial Section, German Embassy Singapore also graced the event as guest-of-honour.

The R&D Lab Launch was another step in the deepening partnership between tesa and A*STAR, and a significant milestone in driving innovation and industrial transformation in Debonding On Demand removable adhesive technologies for advanced manufacturing sectors such as Automotive and Electronics.

Participants also toured the tesa R&D Lab and A*STAR SIMTech’s facilities.
