Visit to AIMfg by Minister for Digital Development and Information
On 18 August 2025, Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information and Minister-in-charge of Cybersecurity & Smart Nation Group visited The Sectoral AI Centre of Excellence for Manufacturing (AIMfg).
The visit involved 19 representatives, including senior executives, government officials, industry leaders, and was hosted by SIMTech’s leadership, including Mr Beh Kian Teik, Chief Executive Officer, Prof Lim Keng Hui, Assistant Chief Executive, SERC (AIMfg Steering Committee Co-Chair, Dr David Low, Executive Director, SIMTech & Chief Executive Officer, ARTC, Mr Peter Tan, Co-Chairman, ARTC Steering Board, Dr Wang Wei, Centre Director, AIMfg. The programme featured presentations on AIMfg’s mission to accelerate AI adoption in manufacturing, its suite of pre-built AI common models, and initiatives that support enterprises on their transformation journey. The programme concluded with technology demonstrations from co-innovation projects with leading industry partners, highlighting AIMfg’s efforts in translating research into impactful industrial applications.
