Dr Yang Liwei

Dr Yang Liwei is a Research Scientist at Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. His research interests include high-performance computing, reconfigurable computing, neuromorphic computing, optimization in EDA toolchain and compilation for efficient AI and deep learning applications. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and both M.S. and B.S. degrees from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC).

Dr Yang has a variety of experience in the world of computing and electronics, ranging from software programming, digital logic coding, to schematic planning and circuit board designing, in both academia and industry. As the pastimes, he loves football and badminton, enjoys movies and video games, where inspirations could be sparked to create new ideas for approaching scientific problems.
