Dr Jayne Thompson

Dr Jayne Thompson currently serves as the Group Manager for quantum algorithms and physics at the Materials Science & Chemistry department. She received her PhD in theorical physics from the University of Melbourne in 2012. Prior to joining A*STAR’s IHPC, she worked for Horizon Quantum Computing, a quantum software company, and Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Dr Thompson has extensive experience in the fields of quantum information and quantum computing, where she focuses on developing new protocols and designing quantum programming languages and their software implementations.

Dr Rosmin Elsa Mohan

Dr Rosmin Elsa Mohan’s research focuses on physics-based modelling and simulations for metasurfaces, mid-infrared optics and agri-food applications. Prior to joining the Electronics & Photonics department at A*STAR’s IHPC in late 2020, she served as a postdoctoral fellow at both the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore). During her tenure, Dr Rosmin collaborated on various multidisciplinary projects, utilising in-house built prototypes in areas such as 4D phase imaging, optical metrology, ocular imaging, and cancer research.

Dr Wu Bingjie

Dr Wu Bingjie serves as the Co-Principal Investigator of the Face AI project, focusing on advancing deep learning algorithms for identifying and monitoring diseases and vital signs using medical images and videos. Her research interests lie in semi-supervised learning, computer vision and AI for healthcare. Dr Wu completed her PhD studies and worked as a Research Fellow at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) before joining the Computing & Intelligence department at A*STAR’s IHPC in October 2021. She has an extensive publication record, contributing to over 15 journals and conferences.
