Dr Sharon Nai Recognised as NUS Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient 2025

A*STAR SIMTech is proud to celebrate Dr Sharon Nai, Senior Principal Scientist at A*STAR SIMTech and Director of the Additive Innovation Centre (AIC), for receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award at the 2025 NUS Alumni Awards.

This award recognises Dr Nai’s outstanding contributions to Singapore’s manufacturing ecosystem and her global scientific impact. As one of the world’s top 2% of scientists, Dr Nai has been instrumental in advancing additive manufacturing technologies, driving innovation, and strengthening industry collaborations that enable enterprises to accelerate technology adoption and enhance competitiveness.

At AIC, Dr Nai leads the development and translation of next-generation additive manufacturing solutions, supporting local companies in building capabilities, developing unique products, and meeting the demands of both local and international markets. Her leadership exemplifies A*STAR’s mission to advance science and technology for societal and economic impact.
