A*STAR Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology and PALO IT have jointly developed a unique and immersive learning “Understand Design Thinking for Product Innovation” course that covers the broad but essential design thinking elements of discovery, synthesis, ideation and prototyping (and validation). Participants learn to apply design thinking fundamentals with a 5-step methodology to ensure that a solution is desirable from a user-centric point of view.
The application of design thinking and state-of-the-art product prototyping techniques can save vast amounts of investment when foraying into new ideas. The process of design thinking is also green and sustainable, as an emphasis on the prototyping and
