Professor Fu Sheng is an accomplished individual with a bachelor’s degree and a PhD in Clinical Medicine from Nanyang Technological University. In 2005, he received the Millennium Foundation Technology Award and became a Millennium Foundation Fellow. Since 2009, Prof. Fu has been making significant contributions in the Department of Paediatrics at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore. His expertise has led to his appointment as a member of the Joint Commission International (JCI) hospital accreditation standard-setting and evaluation committee for KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in 2014. As a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator, he plays a pivotal role in the field of Paediatrics at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore. He is also actively involved as a member of the International Paediatric Emergency Research Network (PERN), the Paediatric Acute Critical Care Medicine Asia Network (PACCMAN), and the Duke-National University of Singapore, demonstrating his commitment to advancing medical research and care practises. Furthermore, as a visiting professor at Hainan Medical College, China, and Chongqing Medical University, China, Prof. Fu shares his expertise and knowledge with the next generation of medical professionals. His dedication and accomplishments have not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his receiving the Hero Award at the Singapore Health Quality Service Awards in 2021 and his contribution as a team member for the Best Team Award for the SingHealth Community Care Facility Team in 2021. Prof. Fu is a true leader and innovator, and his influence extends far beyond his immediate environment, making a lasting impact on the field of paediatrics and emergency medicine.
