    23 May 2025 -ย Find out how our researchers at A*STAR Genome Institute of Singapore (A*STAR GIS) โ€“ Associate Director Niranjan Nagarajan, Scientist and GIS Innovation Fellow Chayaporn Suphavilai and Dr Karrie Ko โ€“ discovered a new variation of ๐˜Š๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ช๐˜ฅ๐˜ข ๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ด (๐˜Š.๐˜ข๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ด)โ€”๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ ๐—ฉ๐—œโ€”a drug-resistant yeast that kept infectious disease experts on high alert worldwide.
