Terahertz is part of the electromagnetic spectrum ranging from 0.1 – 10 THz which holds the potential for numerous futuristic applications including 6G communications, fingerprint sensing, defect identification, security screening and biological imaging. However, efficient interaction and dynamic control of terahertz waves is notoriously challenging owing to its higher frequency and lower photon energy. Hence, radically novel platforms with integrated reconfigurable solutions are critical to bridge the technological gap of the terahertz spectrum.
