Tsinghua University Students Visit
IME hosted Mechanical Engineering undergraduate students from Tsinghua University, one of China’s top leading universities.
Dr. Leh Woon Lim introduced the students to IME’s research and capabilities, offering valuable insights into career opportunities and the impactful roles they could play in advancing microelectronics. Weiguo Chen shared about the work of our Prototype and Product Development Centre (P2DC) and demonstrated our CO2 sensors. Dr. Judy Qunying Lin introduced the students to IME’s flat optics wafer, showcasing its innovative features and applications. The visit concluded with a cleanroom tour by Dr Judy Lin, where the students learned about the processes involved in semiconductor fabrication.
