ABOUT SIMTech’s LCA-LCC Platform & Services
SIMTech’s Life Cycle Assessment and Life Cycle Costing (LCA-LCC) platform equips companies of all sized and sectors with the capabilities in quantifying both environmental and economic impacts for businesses that are interested in sustainability. It is a science-based collaborative digital web tool that provides customized and credible reports with localized (Singapore-specific) emission data, that can be used for sustainability planning to help businesses reduce carbon emission, compute carbon tax and provide decision support for carbon pricing.

The LCA-LCC platform provides various compelling and competitive advantages such as:
- Support services provided on-site, remotely, and via face-to-face training sources; these support services are led by scientists and engineers who are trained extensively in the sustainability domain
- Expansive database for localised (i.e. Singapore-specific) and representative data points
- Data analytics tools to reveal trends and metrics to support systematic planning and maximise financial return of investment of sustainability initiatives
The LCA-LCC platform takes reference from various international standards, such as ISO14040, ISO14044, ISO14064-1/2/3, ISO14067, which can be further expanded to fulfil other international/European Standards, such as BN EN14978.

Sign up for SIMTech’s SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) accredited LCA-LCC training course "Carbon Footprinting through Life Cycle Assessment", which is Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) certified with 40 training hours. The course launched its first intake in August 2022. Participants can enjoy SkillsFuture Singapore funding covering up to 90% of the course fees, subject to eligibility criteria.

Pre-Requisites
- Applicants should possess a degree in any discipline or a diploma with a minimum of 3 years of related working experience.
- Applicants who do not have the required academic qualifications are still welcome to apply, but shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview for special approval.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Full Course Fee
The full course fee for this course is $4,000 before funding and prevailing GST.

LONG TERM VISIT PASS PLUS (LTVP+) HOLDERS
- The LTVP+ scheme applies to lawful foreign spouses of Singapore Citizens with (i) at least one Singapore Citizen child or are expecting one from the marriage, or at least three years of marriage, and (ii) where the Singapore Citizen sponsor is able to support the family.
- All LTVP+ holders can be identified with their green visit pass cards, with the word ‘PLUS’ printed on the back of the card.
ENHANCED TRAINING SUPPORT FOR SMALL & MEDIUM ENTERPRISE (SMEs) SCHEME (ETSS)
The ¹Enhanced Training Support for Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) scheme (ETSS) is for company-sponsored participants who are subject to the eligibility criteria shown below:

SKILLSFUTURE MID-CAREER ENHANCED SUBSIDY (MCES)
- The ²SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) is meant for employer-sponsored and self-sponsored Singapore Citizens aged 40 years old and above.
SkillsFuture Credit
- All Singaporeans aged 25 years old and above are eligible for SkillsFuture Credit (Opening SkillsFuture Credit and One-off SkillsFuture Credit Top Up) which can be used to offset course fees (for self-sponsored registrations only).
